2014 New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF) will be held on 15th to 23th February 2014.It is organized by National Book Trust, India and co Co-Organiser India Trade Promotion Organisation  (ITPO)  at  Pragati Maidan New Delhi.

New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF) 2014”, said Shri A Sethumadhavan, Chairman of The National Book Trust, India, at the ceremony announcing the theme of next year’s event in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.He is excellency, Piotry Klodkowski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to India, welcomed Poland’s nomination as ‘Guest of Honour Country’ at the next edition of New Delhi World Book Fair. Ambassador Klodkowski stated that, “the participation in this international book fair is an opportunity to share knowledge and to learn from each other”.Next year, Poland will bring publishers and writers to India with the aim of understanding each other’s cultures through the exchange of literature. Commenting on the literary exchange between Poland and India, Ambassador Klodkowski shared that works of Indian literature in different languages, such as those in Tamil, Sanskrit and Bangla, and those of Tagore, Premchand, Ashok Vajpeyi and the scripts of the Bhagvad Gita and Rig Ved, have been directly translated into the Polish language.M A Sikandar, Director of National Book Trust, announced on this occasion that the next edition of the NDWBF will take place from 15-23 February, 2014. On average, 55,000 visitors attend the fair daily.
